Volunteer Commitment for MomoCon 2020

May 19th – May 24th (Tuesday through Sunday)

 At MomoCon 2020 volunteers can sign up for THREE types of volunteer positions:

• Part-Time -- volunteer for 1 shift Friday or Saturday & 3 hours on Sunday (May 22nd - May 24th)
• Full-Time -- volunteer full time each day Wednesday through Saturday & 4 hours on Sunday (May 20th - May 24th)
• Local Install and Dismantle Crew -- volunteer Tuesday, Wednesday & 6 hours on Sunday (May 19th, 20th, and 24th)

 ** FULL-TIME Volunteer Benefits **

 If you are selected as a Full-Time volunteer, you will receive the following benefits:

• Stipend: If you complete all your shifts, at the end of the 4-hour Dismantle shift on Sunday, you will be given all the swag shown below plus a check for an amount depending on your volunteer position.

o   Certified Coach or Combat DM: $250 (full-time)

o   Specialized Roles (like traveling NPCs that also serve as DM): $200 (full-time)

o   NPCs (Single Room) and Non-Certified Combat DMs / Coaches: $150 (full-time)

o   Puzzle DM or General Volunteer: $100 (full-time)

o   Local Install Group: $150 (full-time only)

• An EXCLUSIVE Ultra Rare token: Full-time volunteers receive an Ultra Rare, limited-edition, volunteer-exclusive token (Pants of the Panther) at the end of their shift on Sunday.
• One of each of the (Uncommon and Rare) adventure Participations tokens (Boots of the Bandit & Boots of the Burglar). 
• TD Tee-Shirt and Swag Bag
• FREE MomoCon Badge (will be distributed after Wednesday night training)
• Free Hotel Spot: We have a limited number of spots in hotel rooms. Out of town volunteers may qualify for a free spot in a 4-person hotel room with two queen or double beds. NOTE: Your hotel room will be available on Wednesday night, so you can arrive on Wednesday and start volunteering Wednesday evening (6-8 pm).  We have a small amount of rooms for Tuesday (5/19) check IN and Monday (5/25) check out.  If you are able to volunteer for the extended time, please contact volunteer@truedungeon.com BEFORE making any travel arrangements.  We CANNOT guarantee spots in these rooms until it is cleared with TD HQ.

> FULL-TIME Volunteer Time Commitments

If you are a Full-Time volunteer, you are required to help out during these hours at MomoCon:

Wednesday (May 20th): From 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm you will come in to see your area, put any finishing touches on the space, and get familiar with any effects or elements of your area.

Thursday, Friday & Saturday (May 21st - 23rd): Participate in All Hands meeting and area training at 10:00 am on Thursday.  Work event for approximately 6 hours with three 12-minute break periods.   Friday and Saturday you will have one shift (approximately 10 hours) with  four 12-minute break periods and one 48-minute break period.  

Sunday (May 24th): From 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. We will be dismantling the event and packing up the materials.  At the end of the shift you will receive your check and swag mentioned above.

You must be available at all the times listed above to be eligible for full-time status.  Please do NOT make travel arrangements outside of this schedule unless you have prearranged an alternative schedule with TD HQ.  We cannot guarantee hotel accommodations if you do not have the details arranged with TD HQ BEFORE you accept your schedule.

• An EXCLUSIVE Rare token: Part-time volunteers receive a Rare, limited-edition, volunteer-exclusive token (Shirt of the Panther) at the end of their shift on Sunday.

• FREE MomoCon Badge (will be distributed after Wednesday night training)

> PART-TIME Volunteer Time Commitments

If you are a Part-Time volunteer, you are required to attend the All Hands meeting and area training at 10:00 am on Thursday.  You will also have an event shift on ONE day (either Friday or Saturday) plus work from 8am - 11am on Sunday at MomoCon. More specific information is detailed below.

Friday or Saturday (May 22nd/23rd): Work one shift for ONE DAY.  The shift is approximately 10 hours with four 12-minute break periods and one 48-minute break period.

Sunday (May 24th): From 8:00 am - 11:00 am. We dismantle the event and pack up the materials.  At the end of the shift you will receive your check and swag mentioned above.

You must be available at all the times listed above to be eligible for part-time status.  Please do NOT make travel arrangements outside of this schedule unless you have prearranged an alternative schedule with TD HQ.

** Install and Dismantle Crew Volunteer Benefits **

If you are selected as an Install and Dismantle Crew volunteer, you will receive the following benefits:

• Stipend: If you complete all your shifts, at the end of the tear down on Sunday, you will be issued a check for an amount of $150.
• A FREE Ultra Rare token: Full-time volunteers will receive a free Ultra Rare, Limited Edition, Volunteer Exclusive token (Pants of the Panther) at the end of their shift on Sunday.
• Ten 10-packs of 2020 Treasure Tokens ($79 value).
• TD Tee-Shirt and Swag Bag
• FREE MomoCon badge (will be distributed after Wednesday night training)

 > Install and Dismantle Crew Volunteer Time Commitments

Your Local Install & Dismantle Crew volunteer status requires you to volunteer for these times and days.

Tuesday and Wednesday (May 19th - 20th): Choose either 11am - 6:00pm OR 5:00pm - Midnight

Sunday (May 24th): From 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. We dismantle the event and pack up the materials. At the end of the shift you will receive your check and swag mentioned above.

ANYONE interested in volunteering must fill out the volunteer application by February 21st to be considered in the first round of scheduling. All volunteers MUST fill out all the applicable fields. This information will be kept secure and used to select and schedule all volunteers.  While we will accept application AFTER 2/21/2020, scheduling will begin 2/21/2020.  Apply before 2/21/2020 in order to have the best chance at getting the volunteer role you prefer.

June 16^th – 21^st (Tuesday - Sunday)

There are three different levels of commitment for True Dungeon Volunteers:

• Part-Time -- Volunteer for one shift (Friday OR Saturday) and three hours on Sunday (June 18th - 21st)
• Full-Time -- Volunteer full time each day (Wednesday - Saturday) and four hours on Sunday (June 17th - 21st)
• Local Install & Dismantle crew -- Volunteer Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday (June 16th, 17th, and 21st)

**Full Time Benefits**

If you are selected as a Full-Time volunteer, you will receive the following benefits:

**Full-Time Commitment**

If you are a Full-Time volunteer, you are required to help out during these hours at Origins 2020:

• Wednesday June 17^th: You will work an install shift from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM 
• Thursday, Friday & Saturday (June 18th - 20th): Participate in All-Hands Meeting and area training at 10:00 AM on Thursday. Also, work event for approximately 6 hours with three 12-minute break periods. Friday and Saturday, you will have one shift each day (approximately 10 hours) with four 12-minute break periods and one 48-break period.
• Sunday (June 21st): From 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, we will be dismantling the event and packing up the materials. At the end of the shift, you will recieve your check and swag mentioned above.

You must be available at ALL the times listed above to be eligible for full-time status. Please do NOT make travel arrangements outside of this schedule unless you have pre-arranged an alternative schedule with TD HQ. We cannot guarantee hotel accomodations if you do not have the details arranged with TD HQ BEFORE you accept your schedule.

If you are a Part-Time volunteer, you are required to help out during these hours at Origins 2020:

• Thursday (June 18^th): You will have an all-hands meeting and area training at 10:00 AM.
• You work for one day of the event (Friday or Saturday), plus dismantle (8:30 AM - 11:30 AM) on Sunday. You may specify which days you are available on your volunteer application. You will be emailed a schedule with your assigned roles and shift times.
• Event shifts are approximately 10 hours with four 12-minute brea periods and one 48-minute break period.

You must be available at ALL the times listed above to be eligible for part-time status.  Please do NOT make travel arrangements outside of this schedule unless you have pre-arranged an alternative schedule with TD HQ.

If you are selected as an Install and Dismantle volunteer, you will receive the following benefits:

• Stipend:  If you complete all your shifts, at the end of the dismantle on Sunday you will be issued a check for an amount of $150.

**Local Install and Dismantle Volunteer Time Committments**

Your Local Install & Dismantle Crew volunteer status require you to volunteer for the following days and times.

•  Tuesday (June 16^th) from 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
• Wednesday (June 17^th) from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Sunday (June 21^st) from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

You must be available at ALL the times listed above to be eligible for the local install crew.  Please make sure you review the dates and requirements carefully before completing your application.  Exceptions cannot be made!

ANYONE interested in volunteering must fill out the volunteer application by April 2, 2020. All volunteers MUST fill out all the applicable fields. This information will be kept secure and used to select and schedule all volunteers.  While we will accept applications AFTER 4/2/2020, scheduling will begin 4/3/2020.  Apply before that date in order to have the best chance at getting the volunteer role you prefer.

July 27^th – August 2^nd (Monday through Sunday)

There are four different levels of commitment for True Dungeon Volunteers:

• Part Time -- Volunteer for two shifts (Thursday, Friday, or Saturday) and two (2) hours on Sunday (July 30^th - August 2^nd)
• Full Time -- Volunteer for one shift each day (Thursday - Saturday) and four (4) hours on Sunday (July 30^th - August 2^nd)
• Local Install & Dismantle -- Volunteer Monday - Wednesday and Sunday (July 27^th - 29^th AND August 2^nd).
• Fill In -- Volunteer for one shift (Thursday, Friday, OR Saturday) (July 30^th - August 1^st).

• Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (July 30^th - August 1^st):  You will work all three days of the event.  The shift is approximately 8 hours with multiple breaks.  
• Sunday (August 2^nd):  You will work 4 hours of dismantle on Sunday.  We dismantle the event and pack up the materials.  At the end of this shift you will receive your stipend check and swag mentioned above, provided you have fulfilled your volunteer committment.

You must be available at all the times listed above to be eligible for Full Time status.  Please do NOT make travel arrangements outside of this schedule unless you have prearranged an alternative schedule with TD HQ.  We cannot guarantee hotel accommodations if you do not have the details arranged with TD HQ BEFORE you accept your schedule.

• Wednesday (July 29^th):  You will have an All-Hands Meeting and Training on Wednesday evening.  This shift is mandatory.  If you have work or travel issues that will impact your attendance PLEASE let us know BEFORE accepting your schedule so we can see if we can accommodate the issue.
• Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (July 30^th - August 1^st):  You will work two of the three days of the event.  The shift is approximately 8 hours with multiple breaks.  
• Sunday (August 2^nd):  You will work 2 hours of dismantle on Sunday.  We dismantle the event and pack up the materials.  At the end of this shift you will receive your stipend check and swag mentioned above, provided you have fulfilled your volunteer committment.

** Local Install and Dismantle Committment **

• Monday and Tuesday (July 27^th and 28^th):  Install shift from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM. (Light dinner provided)
• Wednesday (July 29^th):  Install shift from  9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. (Lunch provided)
• Sunday (August 2^nd):  There are two dismantle shift options.  You have the following shift choices on your application:  
  • 12:01 AM to 4:00 AM (Night Crew):  For efficiency reasons, it is absolutely vital that we clear out all the lighting, sound and electrical components from the dungeons before the event volunteers arrive for their dismantle shift Sunday morning. These volunteer slots are limited, and preference is given to those that can hustle without supervision and are comfortable quickly dismantling A/V and electrical components – being tall is a plus, too! At the end of this shift you will receive your check and swag. You are done, and you only had to work four hours! Please do not select this option if you are not able to work late hours, as your stipend check will be forfeited if you cannot function.  IMPORTANT: We CANNOT guarantee that you will be placed on night crew. We need many more people on day crew than night, so if we don’t have room you will be placed on day crew. Please make every attempt to not make plans (travel or otherwise) that would prevent you from working day crew if that is where we need you.  
  • 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Day Crew): You will be leading the event volunteers in the dismantling of the event, packing/wrapping pallets, etc.  At the end of this shift you will receive your check and swag!

You must be available at all the times listed above to be eligible for LIG status.  Please do NOT make travel arrangements outside of this schedule unless you have prearranged an alternative schedule with TD HQ.

** Fill In Volunteer Benefits **

If you are selected as a Fill In volunteer, you will receive the following benefits:

• If you complete your shift, you will be able to pick up a True Dungeon Volunteer t-shirt and swag bag on Sunday (August 2^nd) from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

** Fill In Volunteer Committment **

If you are a Fill In volunteer, you are required to help out during these hours at Gen Con 2020:

• Wednesday (July 29^th):  You will have an All-Hands Meeting and Training on Wednesday evening.  This shift is mandatory.  If you have work or travel issues that will impact your attendance PLEASE let us know BEFORE accepting your schedule so we can see if we can accommodate the issue.
• Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (July 30^th - August 1^st):  You will work ONE of the three days of the event.  The shift is approximately 8 hours with multiple breaks.
